The Project Coordinator will assist and support the Project Management team in overseeing projects to ensure deadlines are met by keeping up to date on all aspects of project milestones and tasks.
as a project coordinator at Knight Signs, you will:
Provide support with project documentation and approvals
Monitor and update project status, plans and milestones with project manager
Monitor and update risks, issues and dependencies for projects
Provide support and advice to customers and the sales team
Update our systems with sales orders and project details in a precise and timely manner
Conduct scope statements to production ensuring that all of the customer’s requirements are clearly defined
Manage all queries from customers and sales team and collate information, solve problems and issues
Liaise with production planning regarding lead times and required project information
Coordinate actions and liaise with other departments such as production, design, sales and installation to ensure customer deadlines are met
Manage customers and information/approvals to ensure on-time delivery
Competencies and Skills
Proactive with a can-do attitude to achieve delivery goals
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks at any given time
Strong communication skills (both internal and customer facing), with ability to work closely with multiple departments
Able to work to timelines and manage internal/external dependencies
Highly attentive to detail
Experience in working in a project environment
Education
Educated to degree level or higher
Experience with working with project management tools.
Proficient with MS Project, Excel and Word.
Experience in manufacturing and/or construction is desirable
Clear and concise English language abilities, both written and verbal.
